READYCHECK.IO (“Readycheck” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit the Company’s Web sites (“Visitors”), individuals who register to use the Services as defined below (“Customers”). This Privacy Notice describes Readycheck’s privacy practices as they pertain to the use of the Company’s Web sites and the related applications, services, or events offered by or related to Readycheck, (together the “Services”). In this Notice, the terms “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Readycheck.
1. Overview
Readycheck is a management software solution that helps people keep track characters in World of Warcraft.
2. Websites Covered
This privacy notice applies to the web sites that link to this privacy Notice, including readycheck.io and all sub domains (collectively referred to as “Readycheck’s Web sites” or “the Company’s Web sites” or “Product”).
3. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account on the Product, we may collect and store information about you including, Battle.net profile and email address (“Personal Information”). We use this information to setup your account, and to allow administration and communication with you regarding your account. We may also use your email address to send you updates and to provide services to you in connection with the Readycheck product or related services. At any time, you can change your account information and notification settings on your profile page when you are logged into the Product.
Product Usage
Once you are logged in to use the Product, we collect and store information that you submit through the Website, for your use of the Product and for your disclosure to other users in your organization as part of the Product (“Purpose”). You acknowledge and agree we may collect and disclose Personal Information to facilitate the Purpose. While in some cases you can make certain information private, most information is public by default to other users inside your guilds using the Product. Any Personal Information that is provided to us is stored securely, and used and disclosed only in accordance with this Notice and the Readycheck Terms and Conditions. Readycheck is not responsible for the information you disclose while using the Product.
Your Battle.net Information
When you login to the Product, we collect and store information about your Battle.net profile, for your use of the Product and for your disclosure to other users in your organization as part of the Product (“Purpose”). This includes information about your characters, guilds, and other people in your guilds. You acknowledge and agree we may collect and disclose Personal Information to facilitate the Purpose. While in some cases you can make certain information private, most information is public by default to other users inside your guilds using the Product. Any Personal Information that is provided to us is stored securely, and used and disclosed only in accordance with this Notice and the Readycheck Terms and Conditions. Readycheck is not responsible for the information you disclose while using the Product.
Other Purposes and Technical Data
Readycheck may collect and use technical data and related information — including but not limited to, technical information about your device, system, application software, and peripherals — to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and to allow us continuously make improvements to our products, services, or technologies we offer to you. We do not use any Personal Information while generating this information, nor do we relate any of this information to an individual member or user. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge and agree we may use Personal Information for all purposes identified in, or ancillary to the arrangements outlined in the Readycheck Terms and Conditions.
4. How We Collect Information
Cookies and similar technology
When you use our Product, a cookie (or similar) may be placed within the memory of your internet access device. A cookie (and similar technologies) is a small piece of information that a website can store via your internet access device for later retrieval. We may use permanent cookies (or similar) or server-side constructs to help us track use of our services by users — such as the number and frequency of visits to our pages and which parts of our product are visited.
5. Our Disclosure of Personal Information
We will not sell, license, trade or rent your Personal Information. Readycheck will not otherwise disclose your Personal Information except as described within this Notice and within the Readycheck Terms and Conditions. We may share Personal Information with agents, contractors or partners of Readycheck in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, us, provided that these agents, contractors or partners are restricted from using said information in any way other than to provide services for Readycheck. We may share Personal Information with third-party service providers (e.g., email service providers, data storage and processing facilities) in order for those service providers to perform business functions for us or on our behalf. We may also disclose the information we receive; if required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process or response to a government request. In addition, aggregate Personal Information and other data, may be disclosed in connection with any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, or other business transaction in which data could be transferred to third parties as one of our business assets.
6. Updating Your Personal Information
You can view and update the Personal Information you provide to us by accessing the profile feature of the Product, or you can update it by sending an email to support@readycheck.io, or using the “feedback” button available in the Product.
7. Data Security
Readycheck has established a privacy program designed to help respect and protect your data privacy rights. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of Personal Information. Although we take such precautions seriously, it is impossible for us or others to guarantee the safety and security of Personal Information. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information.
8. Updating This Privacy Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we do, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If and when material changes are made, you will be notified in accordance with applicable law. We encourage you to review this Notice periodically to stay informed on our privacy practices.
